      Hi everyone,

I wanted to ask for your advice about upgrading my gear. I’ve been using one of my older polaris snowmobile jackets for a few seasons now, and I’m starting to wonder if it’s time for a change.

Lately, I’ve noticed it doesn’t keep me as warm as it used to, especially during longer rides. The outer layer also seems worn, and I’m not sure it’s as waterproof as before. I ride pretty often in cold and rough conditions, so comfort and safety matter a lot to me.

I’m trying to figure out when most of you decide to upgrade your jacket. Do you wait until there’s clear damage, or do you replace it once performance starts dropping? Also, are there specific signs I should look for that mean it’s definitely time to switch?

I’d really appreciate hearing your experience and what worked best for you. Thanks!
