Modafinil, a prescription drug used to treat ailments including narcolepsy, is a component of Modalert 200. It should not be taken by a "normal" individual (one without a recognized sleep issue) without a doctor's advice. Headache, anxiety, sleeplessness, elevated heart rate, and dependency risk are among its adverse effects. It might interfere with other medications as well. It is not deemed safe or suitable to use it merely to remain awake or improve focus. Before using modafinil or any other prescription stimulant, always get medical advice.
