Data Lake is a term that refers to the centralized storage facility which allows companies to store huge volumes of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data in its native format. In case you wonder what data lake is, it is the facility designed to gather the data from various sources without performing any prior processing of it. Organizations may store their customers' details, documents, logs, images, and analytical data in one single location. This will help in easier analysis of data whenever necessary. It is unlike the conventional database since it can store the various data in various formats and huge volumes.
